Thirsk Rotary Santa raises £6,000...

The following is a report on the Santa activities undertaken by Thirsk Rotary Club members which raised an incredible £6,000 for which we sincerely appreciate the people of Thirsk for their generosity in what was a series of amazing community partnerships.

Thirsk Rotary Club members, partners and friends were busy through December looking after Santa in his grotto at Thirsk Garden Centre on the 3 weekends leading up to Christmas and on the mid week evenings guiding Santa on an illuminated musical sleigh around 6 routes covering many streets in Thirsk and Sowerby.
